The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good decorative condition. The mirror plate with heavy foxing and fogging throughout. Previously re-gilt, the giltwood with some scattered chips, losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. Some reinforced and restored old cracks and breaks to cresting on reverse. Some chips, cracks, and scattered 'nibbling' to the edges of the clear and blue glass decoration. Some glass ornaments later replacements, particularly to the cresting. some clear glass with losses to the silvered backing. Lacking some clear glass elements along the lower edge and to the upper right corner of frame. Some blue panels with small chips and cracks. Some glass ornaments slightly loose, though secure. Also with some losses to the giltwood shell decorations to the left and right side of frame.
