The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good condition. Lacking left foot as seen in the image, though still stable. The ormolu with some minor rubbing and wear as to be expected, as well as some minor polish residue. The marble with scattered surface nicks and scratches, natural inclusions, and minor 'nibbling' to edges. Both goats very slightly loose, more so the one on the right, though both secure. The glass doors replaced, the one to the front with a very minor flat chip to the lower edge. The dial with some minor surface cracks, along with restored chips to the edges just below 5 o'clock and over the 4 o'clock, and around the left winding aperture, with associated restoration and overpainting.
