The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good, but with wear and tear consistent with age and use; the leather with various marks, scuffs and dents, with some losses to stitching and to rubbing to leather at corners and along edges; handle with a little cracking and discolouration; metal harware with some scratches; the interior lining good, but with some marks/wear from use; missing some fittings, including one bottle, for which the silver lid is present, a box/drawer and some items belonging to the manicure set; a couple of the leather drawer pulls missing/lightly worn and one drawer is very stiff and will not pull out; possibly missing a fitting that would have originally sat in the same compartment as the manicure and shaving sets; the suede lid with marks, dents and scuffs; paper and card label has come unstuck.
