Greta Garbo would go on to win a New York Film Critic's Circle Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Anna Karenina in the 1935 film. The film was a commercial and critical success and Garbo's performance praised in particular. Garbo was also the lead in a silent 1927 version of Anna Karenina under the title Love. Encapsulated and authenticated by PSA, both signatures graded "NM- MT 8".
