There's No Business Like Show Business (1954) is a musical comedy-drama directed by Walter Lang with an all-star cast including Ethel Merman, Donald O-Connor, and Mitzi Gaynor in addition to Monroe. The film's music was written by Irving Berlin, and includes now classics such as "Alexander's Ragtime Band" and "Puttin' On the Ritz" in addition to the the title song, "There's No Business Like Show Business," Which is sung by Ethel Merman. Originally from the musical Annie Get Your Gun, Merman had previously performed it as part of the musicals original Broadway cast, and would go on to perform it again in the 1966 revival, as well as on her 1979 disco album.
