Marilyn Monroe founded Marilyn Monroe Productions Inc. with her friend Milton Greene in 1955, following her suspension by Twentieth Century Fox. She would go on to use MMP to renegotiate a much more favorable contract with Fox, one that gave her greater creative control of future productions and back pay for past pay imbalances.
