Road gray jersey has "New York" team name across the front and number "18" on back. All letters and numbers have been restored. Original "Houk '61" embroidered strip tag is the collar and the Wilson tag on front tail notes size 44. Use and general age related wear are evident throughout and include a few very small scattered holes and other areas of fraying/thinning to material. Houk would Manage the Yankees to a World Series Championship in 1961, the year in which Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris put on a spectacular show hitting home run after home run and Maris broke Babe Ruth's single season record.
