3 November 1957 date letter handwritten on his personal stationary has been signed “As ever, Ty” and in addition he wrote his “T.R.C.” initials after a postscript. Content is varied and includes mention of “Sisler at Rochester…wanted me there for a promotion”, a subsequent visit to Cooperstown, and then a trip to Atlanta for a “Cobb Educational Foundation Trustee meeting.” He further delves into the complications of such travel and makes mention of a proposed appearance at Yankee Stadium as well. Typical mailing folds with some other light wear and there is a strip of mounting residue along the top edge of the last page.
