Available on request only to Rolex’s VIP clients, this ultra-exclusive and almost impossible to obtain jewelled GMT-Master II is offered in superb condition and with full set of accessories. Furthermore, this exquisite timepiece has the reassuringly prestigious provenance of the Champion Collection.
Timepieces set with precious stones are amongst the rarest and most desirable watches crafted by Rolex. Launched in 2019, this most recent of the GMT ‘SARU’ editions, the reference 126755SARU has an ‘Everose’ diamond-studded gold case. The bezel, from which the name ‘SARU’ originates being an amalgam of the words “Sa”pphire and “Ru”by, echoes with gemstones the blue and red ‘Pepsi’ bezels of the original Rolex GMT-Master. For this present model a choice of either a black dial or alternatively a diamond dial version could be chosen. Similarly, the rose gold Oyster bracelet was available with a choice of plain or diamond-set centre links. The present watch has the plain black dial which serves to temper the richness of the case to give a super-cool aesthetic.
The GMT-Master collection’s ‘SARU’ models are unexpectedly glamorous for a practical tool watch. The 126755SARU is just as rugged as it is beautiful, the self-winding automatic Caliber 3186 movement has a 50-hour power reserve and features the anti-magnetic blue Parachrom hairspring that provides as much as ten times more accuracy and resistance to shocks and extreme temperatures. Naturally, it is waterproof to a maximum depth of 100 meters or 330 feet. Rolex only uses the finest gemstones cut and matched to perfection, the present Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126755SARU is set with 12 diamonds, 18 rubies, and 18 sapphires in the bezel, plus diamonds on the lugs.
