The Octa Automatique is the very first model of F.P. Journe's Octa series of wristwatches, launched in 2001.
This model was manufactured with a yellow gold dial and it is confirmed that fewer than 120 examples were ever produced between 2001 and 2003 before the yellow gold dials were discontinued.
On further inspection, it is evident that the watch dial has developed a patina and now features an attractive and unique orange/yellow color.
