Lot Essay

Panerai came out with the first Radiomir prototype in 1936 and it featured a cushion shaped case with wire lugs and luminous hands and dial. These watches were meant for the Italian Navy divers, known as the "Frogmen." Over the years Panerai has made variations of the Radiomir. This modern model stays true to the original design with the cushion shaped case and wire lugs, but has some upgrades like the date complication, subsidiary seconds, and Luminova luminescent material. The Radiomir is a great everyday watch that can be dressed up or down, suitable for many occasions.
