The present lot is offered in excellent overall condition. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The dial ink is uniformly raised, the applied numerals have developed patina. Some extremely light dust settling within the sunk subdial. The case is in excellent condition with light scuffs. The case has not been polished, it is robust with great form. The back of the lugs are developing patina, and the hallmark to the back of the upper right lug is crisp. The numbers on the case back are crisp. The movement is stamped “ROR”. The movement appears to be in excellent vintage condition with pleasant oxidation occurring to the nickel plated bridges. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
