The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.


The present lot is offered in very good overall condition. The dial and hands are in very good condition and appear to be original. The luminous material is uniform in color, and there is a variety of disintegration of the luminous dots at the end of each index, all still show signs of reaction under UV light. The outer track displays wear between the 12 o’clock and 2 o’clock positions. The case is in very good condition with light scratches, and light scuffs throughout, commensurate with age and normal wear. Light signs of prior polishing present. The case back displays strap rub pattern. The case number is present and legible between the bottom lugs. Crown appears to be correct and original. The chronograph function is working at the time of cataloguing. Movement and inner-case back marked Heuer-Leonidas SA. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
