The present lot is offered in very good overall condition. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The dial has a beautiful deep patina, the ink writing is high and uniform, the indexes themselves also display patina. The crystal does contain some lights scratches. The case is in very good condition with light scuffs and some tiny nicks at the ends of the lugs. The hallmark on the case side and back of the upper left lug are visible but show some rub. There are signs of prior polish, but the case holds very good shape. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
