Very few haute horology brands have mastered the art of bringing together the perpetual calendar complication with a split-seconds chronograph and make the watch look aesthetically pleasing.
Introduced in 2013, the platinum 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar is a horological heavyweight from A. Lange & Söhne. The watch sits in the brand’s 1815 line, so the design of the watch draws from the pocket watches made by the founder Ferdinand A. Lange in the 19th century. Cue the railroad minute track, the Arabic numerals and manual-winding movements.
This watch is powered by the manual-winding Cal. L101.1 which comprises 631 parts and is finished to finest Glashütte tradition.

OVERALL CONDITION: The watch is in excellent and mint condition.
CASE: The case is excellent condition. The bezel with a tiny surface mark at 6 o’clock but the rest of the watch does not display any kind of mark. The caseback is in superb condition, all screws inspected are intact.
DIAL: The dial is nice, clean and original in excellent condition.
MOVEMENT: Ticking at the time of cataloguing. All functions of the perpetual calendar and split second chronograph are working perfectly.
BUCKLE: The Lange platinum pin buckle is in like-new condition.
