Audemars Piguet introduced the perpetual calendar complication to the Royal Oak collection in 1983. The refined Ref. 25654 was introduced in 1983 and was produced till 1998.
Though there were other iterations over the year, in 2015 Audemars Piguet dropped four new Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar watches bringing back the much-loved looks of the original “RO QP”. At 41 mm, the new models were 2 mm wider than the older versions and were powered by Cal. 5134, an an updated version of the Cal. 2120
