Introduced in 1989 as a re-imagined Royal Oak that could handle the lifestyle of the most active and adventurous collectors, the Offshore was designed by following a deconstructed approach, intending to showcase how the timepiece's key elements were built and allied together.
Similar to the Royal Oak, the Offshore received criticism during its presentation. Today the model has become one of Audemars Piguet's most successful timepieces, becoming a true symbol of fusion between luxury and sport aesthetics.
