Lot Essay

Blancpain’s Villeret collection is home to the brand’s most classically-styled timepieces. The present timepiece is an excellent example of the Le Brassus brand’s ability to push the boundaries of haute horology.

A horological heavyweight, this watch combines an automatic perpetual calendar and a split-seconds chronograph movement in a very wearable 42 mm. case. The red gold case has the distinct stepped bezel associated with the Villeret family and the closed caseback carries the No. 135 engraving.

The watch is powered by Blancpain caliber 56F9A, a self-winding movement comprising 466 components, including 39 jewels and a diameter of 26.2 mm.
