Lot Essay

The Breguet reference 7047 was launched in 2007 and is a good marriage of tradition and modernity. Cased in a contemporary 41 mm platinum case, the exaggerated sapphire crystal gives the dial a sense of the depth.

The anthracite-toned movement combines a chain and fusee transmission with a tourbillon, all visible on the dial. A power reserve indicator is mounted on the barrel and time is read off an off-centre silvered gold hand-guilloched dial.
