This beautiful, enamelled pocketwatch is believed to have been made in the 1920s. When examining this pocket watch, one can easily see how Cartier earnt its name as the ‘King of Jewellers’. The super flat watch is decorated on the back with translucent green enamel over an engine-turned base with a narrow opaque white border and diamond rosette. This watch is presented in stunning condition for a watch of its age and the caseback is particularly well preserved. This watch would make a magnificent addition to any lover of Cartier or of beautiful pocketwatches.

OVERALL CONDITION: Very good, considering it's over a hundred years old

CASE: Fair condition, there is loss of green enamel on the bezel at 12 o' clock and the bow. Enamel on the caseback is intact, so is the gem-setting

DIAL: Original dial has age spots, but the print is still clear and legible

MOVEMENT: Ticking at the time of cataloguing. However, a service is recommended.
