Lot Essay

Following the success of the Chronographe Monopoussoir Rattrapante Bleu F.P. Journe produced for the Only Watch charity auction in 2017, the independent brand introduced a sportier split-second chronograph in its lineSport collection.

Featuring a matte-finish titanium case and bracelet with rubberised accents, the watch was powered by a manual-winding Cal. 1518 which features aluminium movement bridges and plates. This is a single-button split-seconds chronograph movement because the start, stop and reset are controlled by the pusher at 2 o’ clock, while the pusher at 4 o’clock controls the split-seconds function.
