The enamel miniature on its dial depicts an Arabian “pur sang” with its distinctive head shape and unmatched elegance. Girard-Perregaux is among the few manufacturers that still has the capability to produce watches featuring this rare craft of miniature enamelling, traditionally associated with the finest Geneva timepieces, and in many ways the most difficult of the decorative arts.

Miniature enamelling work was reserved for unique pieces or special orders with the subject matter chosen by the client. The Girard-Perregaux "Pur Sang" model was offered with a retail price of $37,000.
