HARRY WINSTON & F.P. JOURNE, A UNIQUE PLATINUM DUAL TIME CHRONOMETER WRISTWATCH, OPUS ONE, REF. 200/MRPFJ 38P
The Opus 1 represents the beginning of one of the greatest partnerships of modern watchmaking between the esteemed jeweller Harry Winston and the visionary and astute Maximilian Büsser. The Opus series has gone on to become a cult line for serious collectors of modern independent watches. While later editions were iroduced in larger and larger numbers, when the series was launched in 2001 working with the legendary watchmaker François-Paul Journe, there were only 18 pieces in total: six with five-day automatic movement, six tourbillons and six with the innovative resonance escapement. Of these six Chronomètre à Résonance based models each one was unique with different dial colours and some, like the present example, with stone setting.
