Patek Philippe unveiled the reference 5738 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the legendary Golden Ellipse. The new rose-gold version of the Patek icon was larger in size and featured an ebony black sunburst dial with applied hour markers and slender hands in rose gold. A dress watch that appeals to aesthetes and connoisseurs alike, the watch was powered by the ultra-thin Cal. 240 mm which ensured that the case was slim at 9.4 mm.
