Lot Essay

Among the biggest wristwatches (in terms of case size) produced by Patek Philippe, the Ref. 5071G was the flamboyant chronograph sibling of Ref. 5070. It was produced in very limited numbers and made available only to the brand’s exclusive clientele upon special request, given the complexity of the case that’s set with perfectly match baguette-cut diamonds. It was powered by Cal. CH 27-70, based on the Nouvelle Lemania movement.
