This is a good example of Patek Philippe’s small series of gold coin watches, given reference numbers 800 to 809, using US$5 (Ref. 800), US$10 (Ref. 801), US$20 (Ref. 802 & 803, the present example), CHF100 (Ref. 804), Pesos 50 (Ref. 805) and other coins. No other coin watches were made since by Patek Philippe. A coin watch bearing movement no. 861'011 is illustrated in Patek Philippe by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, p. 165.
