Lot Essay
The RM11-03 line of watches evolved from the popular RM011 that was a mainstay of the Richard Mille collection since 2007. The RM11-03 was introduced in 2016 and featured the new automatic flyback chronograph caliber RMAC3.
Apart from an updated movement, the tripartite case tonneau-shaped case, so characteristic of the brand, also received a sportier update with design cues borrowed from the automotive industry. The RM11-03 would go on to feature cases produced in a series of exciting and groundbreaking materials.
The present timepiece is a good example of how Richard Mille marries traditional diamond-setting with its avant-garde design philosophy. A gem-set sports watch in recent years has gained immense popularity among celebrity sports stars and musicians. Flamboyant and impressive, the present RM11-03 is offered in excellent condition and with its full set of accessories.
