Rolex has used dials cut from a block of meteorite on its Daytona and Day-Date models primarily, although in 2019 it did debut a white gold GMT-Master II with such a dial.

Each dial is sliced off a chunk of meteorite and then treated in an acid bath to bring out its natural crystalline pattern, so in effect each watch contains a unique dial. Now only reserved for Rolex’s more premium models (mostly in white gold, although 2020 saw the release of a rose gold Daytona as well), these meteorite models offer owners a chance to possess a truly special chronograph.

The present example is an excellent condition and is offered with the original certificate of guarantee and presentation box. Due to the scarcity of the material, finding a white gold Daytona Ref. 116519 with a meteorite dial is a rare occurrence indeed.
