The Rolex GMT Master II Reference 16710 was produced from 1989 to 2007. This particular example belongs to a sub-set of 16710s nicknamed the “Stick Dial” due to the design of sans serif font of Roman II after GMT Master. This is a rare variant of the classic Ref. 16710, the last of the GMT references made before the ceramic bezel was introduced. The “Stick Dial” GMTs were made around 2007 and were seen either with Cal. 3185 or 3186 movements (like the present reference).
