About a decade following the 1945 debut of the 36 mm. Oyster Perpetual Datejust, Rolex introduced the Oyster Perpetual Date with a slightly smaller 34 mm. case. This present reference, the 15148, was manufactured throughout the 1980s with the Calibre 3035 movements, housed in cases which are water-resistant to 100-meters.

This present lot is particularly attractive with the special gold bezel which matches the fantastic and heavy yellow gold bracelet. In beautiful, original condition and combined with its original Rolex box and papers, this timepiece is a wonderful example of the legendary Oyster Perpetual Date.

OVERALL CONDITION: Very good

CASE: Light surface scratches. Oxidation spots can be seen on the caseband near the crown. Tool marks visible on the underside of the lugs. Crisp gold hallmarks

DIAL: Nice, clean and original

MOVEMENT: Ticking at the time of cataloguing. However, a service is recommended.

BRACELET/ CLASP: Very good condition, light surface scratches only.
