Lot Essay

Ulysse Nardin introduced The Trilogy of Time collection in 1985 inspired by the works of the three legendary astronomers – Galileo Galilei, Nicolaus Copernicus, and Johannes Kepler.

The Astrolabium Galileo Galilei was released in 1985 and was followed by the present model, the Planetarium Copernicus, in 1988. The Planetarium showed a view of the five main planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) in relation to the Earth and the Sun.
