Vacheron Constantin produced their first world time pocketwatches in the 1930s on the back of the world time system developed by Louis Cottier. The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle World Time Ref. 86060 provides the time for all 37 different time zones including those that are affected by half or quarter hour increments.

The present timepiece is a Les Cabinotiers version of the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle World Time Collection Excellence Platine. This unique piece in platinum has Mecca has one of the cities on the World Time disc and is distinguished by the green tone of the oceans on the world map.
