Lot Essay

The Overseas has always been a sharp option when looking for a steel integrated luxury sports watch not from one of the usual suspects. Whilst it has been in the shadows of the Royal Oak, Nautilus and 222, the Overseas range has now begun to enjoy more of the limelight.

The present timepiece is a good example of the Overseas first generation that was launched in 1996 and was first produced until 2006. Inspired by the Maltese Cross logo of Vacheron Constantin, the bezel clearly shows the flat edges of a cross. This is reiterated on the crown and, of course, on the bracelet’s clasp too. In its good condition, this present lot offers the opportunity to acquire a very interesting up and coming alternative to the ‘Holy Trinity’.
