The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing, but a service is required as the watch has not been used in a long time.
Dial: Original, crisp. Slightly dirty, minor scratch from centre of the subsidiary dial to the numeral 20, minor tarnished between 10 and 11 o'clock, below script, left to the numeral 3, normal for the age of the watch.
Case: In generally very good overall condition, very slight surface wear and hallmarks and numbers to the inside cover. Personalized engraving on the inside cover: "Danford Knowlion New-York". Enamel numerals to the outside slightly chipped.
