Lot Essay

The present watch is offered in absolutely unrestored and well-preserved condition. It features a set of some of the most intriguing and sought-after traits to be found in vintage timepieces: the extremely rare and attractive combination of steel case and pink dial, a two-tone sector dial layout, extremely generous case dimensions and a water-resistant-type case with screw back. It is interesting to point out that the case is signed R. Spillmann, one of the most prominent case makers of the time which will ultimately become the elective supplier for Rolex.
