The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is not ticking at the time of cataloguing. A service is recommended. The date wheel does not pass correctly. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case: The case is in good condition with scratches and dents. Has been previously polished. Bezel with scratches.
Dial: Service hands. The dial has a very slight tropical patina. The luminous indexes are slightly oxidized.
Bracelet: The bracelet shows stretch. Surface scratches and dents and the bracelet, scratches on the clasp. Has been previously polished.
Overall condition: Good condition.

The condition of lots sold in our auctions can vary widely due to factors such as age, previous damage, restoration, repair and wear and tear.
