Lot Essay

Launched in the 1990s, Audemars Piguet's Edward Piguet ‘Quantième Perpétuel’ Ref. 25682 is regarded as one of the most elegant perpetual calendar watches produced by the company.

Closely inspired by the firm's famous rectangular calendar watches from the 1920s, it is distinguished by the Art Deco inspired case.

Complicated and extremely elegant, the ‘Quantième Perpétuel’ is the perfect timepiece for both daytime and evening.

Founded in 1875 by Jules Audemars and Edward-August Piguet, the Swiss manufacture known today as Audemars Piguet is part of the rare fine watch-making companies still held by the families of their founding partners.
