The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The original dial is nice, bearing the secret Cartier signature at 7 o’clock. It has a very slight scratch on the left side of the number 8 and some very light spots on the outside of the dial, which are hardly visible to the naked eye. Hands are nice, with very light surface scratch on the minute hand. Case with surface wear throughout. Screws to the band are worn. Serial number to the case back clear and crisp. Reference number, reading 60001 slightly rubbed, also the engraving “18K Suisse”. Last three digits of its serial number are repeated to the inside of the case. The bracelet with very slight surface wear. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloguing, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
