Cartier's 'Tonneau' watch was introduced in 1906. in 1912, the 'Tortue' was introduced. This particular version with unusual lugs is very rare with its platinum case and gold case back. It is furthermore enhanced by its yellow gold clasp stamped 'New York'. The movement was supplied by European Watch and Clock Co.
