The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The painted dial appears to be original, the painted surface currently seems stable but is flaking on the outer areas covered by the bezel, some scratching to mainly the centre around the hands visible under magnification but not particularly noticeable to the naked eye. The case is in generally good condition, repolished at some time the past, hallmarks still visible, numbers on the back and lugs clearly readable, moderate surface scratching commensurate with age, the inside of the upper case is punched with the last three digits of the case number ‘694’, one screw missing, others slightly worn, winding crown probably replaced, the deployant clasp is broken in half and requires repair. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloguing, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
