Lot Essay

The present watch was delivered to the Portuguese retailer Rodrigues on 11th June 1942. The import hallmark is visible on the lower right lug.

It is an attractive example of the so-called “Hermet” model, distinguished by the tightly sealed case back and recessed crown, thus protecting the movement against humidity and dust.
