Lot Essay

The present AMVOX3 is no. 11 of the limited edition of 300 examples made of the mode. It is furthermore offered in excellent overall condition.

Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin joined partnership a decade ago because they share the same values of technical innovation. This partnership led them to create a series of innovative watches known as JLC AMVOX such as the present lot. The AMVOX 3 is the first round ceramic case manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre. It is combined with the tourbillon movement and has a truly high resistance and stability.

Innovative and complicated, the functions of the AMVOX3 comprise a retrograde date hand with corresponding scale around the perimeter of the dial, red hand for the second time zone with chapter ring at the centre, independently adjustable hour hand, AM/PM indication on a rotating sapphire disc and visible tourbillon carrying the large seconds hand. The Aston Martin emblem is placed below the 6 o’clock position. The 35 jewel movement is displayed through the glazed back and has a platinum rotor segment.
