Lot Essay

The movement of the present watch is inscribed "Pat. Jan. 13, 1891" and "2680" preceded by the Swiss Cross symbol, referring to the firm’s keyless winding system. It is furthermore fitted with wolf's tooth winding, gold wheel train, cam wheel regulator, bimetallic compensation balance with gold poising screws and a counterpoised "Moustache" lever.
