Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The dial is very well preserved, some indexes slightly scratched/marked, some white paint missing from the centre seconds hand. The case is in generally good condition, the surface of the silver paint on the top and back is marked by two strips where it was presumably once mounted with tape or glue which has affected the surface in these areas. It has not been possible to test the movement as it will only work when connected to a master clock. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
