The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case: The case is in very good condition, with minor scratches and dents. The case back shows signs of wear, scratches and dents. The hallmark on the right side of the case is crisp and clear.
Dial: In very good condition with some oxidation at 3 o'clock, between 6 and 7 o'clock. The Hausmann signature is clean. The indexes and hands with minor surface scratches. The dial has been restored in the past.
Buckle: Some minor signs of wear. The deployant clasp is modern.
Overall condition: Very good for its age.
