Consigned by the original owner and fresh to the market, this ref. 5070J is furthermore preserved in very good overall condition and sold with the original certificate and box.

Reference 5070, Patek Philippe’s first chronograph-only model since decades was launched in 1998. It was first produced exclusively in yellow gold which was replaced in 2001 by the white gold version. The pink gold variant was launched in 2003, platinum in 2008.

It is fitted with the calibre 27-70 movement, based on the Nouvelle Lemania ébauche especially developed for Patek Philippe

With a substantial diameter of 42 mm., it is among the largest watches ever produced by Patek Philippe.
