The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is partly ticking at the time of cataloguing. The winding position of the crown is not functional, however no faulty parts are visible. A service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial: Very good condition due the age. There are very slight traces of oxidation around the indexes. The dial has been replaced but is from the right period.
Case: Case with slight surface wear. Hallmark underneath the lug slightly rubbed.
