Lot Essay

An astonishing wristwatch, the present Roger Dubuis Golden Square is part of a limited edition of only 28 pieces. The attractive carbon fiber type dial provides a beautiful contrast to the iconic golden square case design. Finished to the highest quality, the watch is powered by the RD57 calibre stamped with the Geneva seal.

Born in 1995 through the alliance of watchmaker Roger Dubuis with designer Carlos Dias, the Swiss manufacture quickly thrived through its balance between traditional watchmaking and avant-garde designs.

Driven by the desire to constantly innovate, the manufacture follows strict assembly guidelines and rigorous tests, resulting in the certification of all their timepieces by the Geneva seal. Highest standard in watchmaking, Roger Dubuis is part of the very few manufactures to reach such an esteem status, guarantee of the provenance, timekeeping accuracy and quality craftsmanship. Movements stamped by this prestigious seal are deemed to take 30 to 40% more time to complete, followed by each timepiece being individually tested for accuracy.
