Reference 6105 is not only among the rarely seen vintage models by Rolex, but furthermore among the most wearable and eye-pleasing ones thanks to its generous proportions (indeed the Italian nickname Ovettone denotes it is the large version of the ovetto/bubble back) and the contemporary looking Oyster case.

A rare find in yellow gold, the pink gold version is exponentially more difficult to discover, especially in the condition as appealing as the present specimen. Not only does the case feature full lugs and intact proportions, but the wonderfully preserved dial acquired a patina which increases the vintage feel and attractiveness of the timepiece. the watch also features an unusual and highly-desirable "half-crown" coronet used by Rolex circa 1950.
