The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The original dial is untouched and shows no signs of restoration, the luminous material has aged to a very dark brown on the numerals and indexes, light overall spotting to the dial surface The luminous material to the hands is a later replacement, spooted from age. The case is in generally good condition and does not appear to have been overpolished, moderate surface scratching commensurate with age, the case back is engraved with the serial number and reference number which are still readable in a raking light, Rolex Oyster crown. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloguing, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
